"Spring Gastro Getaway" with Delia & Janet Viader at Lake Placid Lodge, NY

Join Delia and her daughter Janet for an incredible wine & food weekend at this enchanting Relais & Chateaux property in the Adirondack Mountains. Sponsored by Lexus, several culinary & wine events will be held throughout the weekend, starting on Thursday, May 10th, culminating in a seven-course dinner on Saturday, May 12th with Chef Jennifer Backman of the Ocean House restaurant (Watchill, RI), forager Jan Dane, and Chef Nathan Rich of the Lake Placid Lodge. Tasting for wine industry professionals from 1-2PM)
Taste the current 2009 DARE by Viader Tempranillo with Janet Viader, and other wines produced by "TAPAS" members from grape varieties indigenous to Spain and Portugal that are now cultivated in America. Wine will be available for sale at this event.

VIADER wine & lamb are a match made in heaven! Second generation winemaker Alan Viader will be at the grill again on Sunday, Aug. 5th to pair with our elegant reds from our Howell Mountain Estate at our 24th annual Harvest Party.
You are invited to enjoy our favorite wine & food pairing on a casual Sunday afternoon, sipping wines on the tasting room patio with the VIADER family. We will be offering regular winery tours and special wine promotions.

"Futures" Barrel Tastings at Twilight
Saturday, October 20th: 4-7PM
Join founding winemaker Delia Viader and family for an evening barrel tasting of "future vintages" on our Howell Mountain winery estate. Starting in the winery caves, guests will have the opportunity to see the winery in action during the peak of the grape harvest. A tasting of the VIADER & "V" blends from barrel will precede a tasting of select bottled Library Reserve and current release wines at Delia's residence. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres will be passed throughout the evening.
Flat shoes and a warm layer are strongly encouraged. Please note space is extremely limited. We encourage you to call ahead.
