Experience a day of wine tasting and savory hors d’oeuvres prepared by Executive Chef Mariela Viader, and relax after the long weekend with the breathtaking views of the Napa Valley from our terrace as we open up our favorite vintages of VIADER dating back to the inaugural 1989 release.
Wednesday, July 16th, 2008, Concierge Night 4:30PM to 7:00PM
VIADER invites locals from the wine industry to learn more about the people behind the wines. Restaurant servers, chefs, hotel concierge, and staff from other tasting rooms are welcome. Wines are paired with hors d’oeuvres prepared by Executive Chef Mariela Viader.

In partnership with Cavallo Point in Sausalito, VIADER will be the first winery invited to the "Culinary Bon Vivant Program" at this recently opened exclusive Bay Area resort. VIADER wines will be featured in personal cooking classes taught by Cavallo's Chef Joseph Humphrey and Chef Craig von Foerster of the Post Ranch Inn. In the evening, Delia and Janet will host winedinners. The Cavallo Point "Culinary Bon Vivant Program" offers their guests a great in-depth opportunity to explore food and wine!
Saturday, September 13th, 2008: Harvest Magnum Party Lunch
12PM to 3:30PM
In September, the Napa Valley transforms into a dance of crushpads and picking crews as wineries harvest up in the mountains and down in the Valley. At VIADER, our red wine grapes ripen later in the season, and so guests will be able to see the fruit at its peak, right at the start of this crucial turning point on the vine. We will provide a tasty picnic lunch served family style, and pair all the food with current and library VIADER wines out of magnums (1.5L).

After the success of last year's "Casino Royale '007", we present to you new Casino games and entertainment, a multi-course dinner created by Executive Chef Mariela Viader, in the classic style of the 1940s.

World Economic Forum held at VIADER! Executive Chef Mariela Viader worked side-by-side with world-renowned Chef Alice Waters of Chez Panisse (in the San Francisco Bay Area) to create the right ambiance for the attendees of the esteemed economic think tank. The WEF, usually held in Davos, Switzerland, invited respected international economists and CEOs from the Bay Area as well as around the world to the Tasting Room at VIADER. The guests were treated to daytime meals, and an elegant twilight dinner on the VIADER estate.

Each year the Napa Valley Vintners create a special barrel auction, "Premiere Napa Valley," inviting the top wine industry professionals. VIADER has created a special SINGLE barrel of 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon, to be bottled separately for the Premiere event. This wine will only be available through the channels of the highest bidder.
